The project "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" is an exciting fusion between the subject of typography and the use of a digital lab II. The goal was to create a set of postcards that explored the intersection of these two disciplines, using lettering as a starting point for creative expression.

The journey began with the creation of lettering using simple materials found in the home, such as thread, paper and line. Imagination was the key to creating this lettering, allowing experimentation and the freedom to explore shapes and textures. The letters were then refined and printed using the draft printing technique, which added a handmade feel and tactile quality to the project.
The name "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" inspired the creation of three different graphics, each representing one of the elements mentioned. The "Good" graphic was built with rounded and smooth shapes, conveying a sense of softness and harmony. On the other hand, the "Bad" graphic had stronger shapes and more vertices, evoking a sense of robustness and visual impact. Finally, the "Ugly" graphic incorporated elements of both, with shapes that combined softness and sharp edges, creating an intriguing and unsettling aesthetic.
The basis for the development of these graphics was the geometrization of shapes, exploring how different arrangements and combinations could convey the desired message. The careful selection of shapes and their arrangement created a unique visual language for each of the graphics, allowing them to express their characteristics in a distinctive way.
Besides uniting two disciplines, the project explored the Letterpress printing technique, adding yet another layer of complexity and beauty to the graphics created.

In the end, it was necessary to choose a graphic to be incorporated into the letter, and it was then that "good" was chosen, since the letter itself was already very geometric and expressive.
